= Overview =

The '''Order of the Promise of the Outlands''' (CPO) is a Kingdom-level youth award for children under the age of 15 who have demonstrated consistent excellence through general service and mannerly behavior. This award is non-armigerous and does not convey a Grant of Arms. Recipients are styled as Companions of the Promise of the Outlands and may use the post-nominals "CPO." The Order was chartered on May 9, A.S. XXXIII (1998) by [[Cameron]] and [[Anne Aliz]], King and Queen of the Outlands. The charter was attested by [[Pendar the Bard]], White Stag Principal Herald. The premier recipient was [[Cailean MacDuff]].
