Overview
The Baron's Thistle of Fontaine was a Barony-level award in the Barony of Fontaine dans Sable. It was awarded at the discretion of the Baron to those who have provided notable service to the Barony.[1]
This award was chartered on the 29th day of October, A.S. XL (2005), by Duncan and Mary of Fontaine dans Sable.[2] The charter was also signed by Martim, Black Fountain Pursuivant, as herald.
Purpose and Recognition
The Baron's Thistle of Fontaine was granted in recognition of service to the Barony, as determined by the Baron. It was a mark of appreciation for those whose efforts have strengthened and enriched the community.
Badge
There was no badge for the order. Instead, the Baron would give a token of his own choosing.
