Overview

The Silver Axe of Fontaine (CSA) was a Baronial-level non-armigerous award given by the Coronet of Fontaine dans Sable.[1] It was conferred upon individuals who had demonstrated extraordinary skill and dedication to the art of heavy combat. The order was chartered on October 29, A.S. XL (2005) by Duncan and Mary, Baron and Baroness of Fontaine dans Sable. The constitution was attested by Martim, Black Fountain Pursuivant.[2]

Purpose and Recognition

The Order of the Silver Axe recognized those who have shown exemplary prowess and assiduous dedication to the art of heavy combat within the Barony.

The holders of this award are styled as Companions of the Silver Axe and may use the post-nominal letters C.S.A.

Badge and Regalia

The blazon of the badge is Azure, a battle axe bendwise sinister argent distilling gouttes gules within eight fleurs-de-lis in annulo bases outward argent.[3][4]
