Overview
The Order of the Queen's Cypher (BQC) is a Kingdom-level non-armigerous award that recognizes individuals for their great service to the Queen during her reign. This award is conferred by the Queen and can be received multiple times, but only once per reign. Recipients are entitled to bear an insignia that is a stylized rendering of the Queen's initials. The Order of the Queen's Cypher was chartered in A.S. XXXIII (1998) by Hrothger II and Madigan, King and Queen of the Outlands. The charter was attested by Pendar the Bard, White Stag Principal Herald.
Purpose and Recognition
The Order of the Queen's Cypher honors individuals who have provided significant service to the Queen, demonstrating devotion and valuable work during her reign.
Recipients are styled as Bearers of the Queen's Cypher and may use the post-nominal letters BQC. This award does not carry a Grant of Arms or any other precedence.
Badge and Regalia
The insignia of the Order is a stylized rendering of the Queen's initials. The specific design is determined by each Queen who chooses to bestow her cypher.
