Shortly after court began, rainfall interrupted proceedings and attendees temporarily sought shelter. The rain cleared after approximately ten minutes and court was able to proceed as intended. As a result of the weather, the Leaf & Lion Circus was canceled. Anticipating additional storms, Saturday evening court was relocated indoors, though the indoor space remained exceptionally warm.

They were then required to bring a handmade gift for the entrant they'd been assigned. It was recommended that entrants spend approximately 20 hours and no mor than $50 in materials.
