Shire of Willowgate was an incipient branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism in the Kingdom of the Outlands, representing the area around Taos, New Mexico. The group was active from 1997 to 1998 but was never formally invested as a shire.
The name Willowgate, Shire of was registered with the Society in February 1998. The group had already appeared in the Outlandish Herald by July 1997, indicating that an incipient group was active in the Taos area prior to the formal registration of its name.
Willowgate remained active for less than a year. Its final appearance in the Outlandish Herald was in May 1998. The Outlands Heralds' historical records list the group as having disbanded in April 1998.
