The Order of the Argent Fleece, or Companion of the Argent Fleece (CAF), is a Kingdom-level Grant of Arms award given to individuals who demonstrate extraordinary skill and dedication to the creation and cultivation of a medieval persona. This includes not only costuming, but also mannerisms, research, presentation, and presence.

The Argent Fleece recognizes those for whom their persona is itself a refined and cultivated art. This includes mindful comportment, historically-informed appearance, researched culture, and embodiment of the ideals of a particular time and place.
Recipients of the Order are considered to have achieved persona excellence and may use the post-nominal letters CAF after their name. The award confers a Grant of Arms if the recipient does not already possess one.

Members of the Order are entitled to bear the badge:
