Overview
The Hamlet of Plattefordham is a local branch of the Kingdom of the Outlands located in northern Wyoming. It encompasses the communities of Buffalo, Casper, and the surrounding areas, and is currently the northernmost branch in the Kingdom.

History
The name Plattefordham was registered in November 1991. It combines the French word platt (“flat”) and the Middle English fordham (“homestead”). The name is likely an homage to the Platte River, an important regional feature.
In November 2025, Plattefordham officially became a Hamlet under the Barony of Unser Hafen. This is the first and only Hamlet in the Kingdom of the Outlands as of December, 2025.

Feast of the Valkyries
A recurring spring gathering and feast hosted by the group.
Available event information features the following:
- A day of feasting, frolicking, and seasonal celebration with brightly colored attire encouraged.
- “Hunter’s horn” game: participants attempted to sneak spears into the hunter’s quiver between 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM, with a prize for the most successful hunter.
