Overview

The Brendon Swatko Award (CBS) is a Kingdom-level **non-armigerous award** recognizing youth under the age of 16 who demonstrate consistent excellence in the martial arts of the Society, including boffer, rapier combat, and thrown weapons. Formerly known as the Argent Wyvern, the award was renamed in honor of Brendon Swatko, an Outlander youth who tragically passed away at an event. The award was chartered on January 3, A.S. XXXVIII (2004) by Hoegaarden and Chiara, King and Queen of the Outlands.

Purpose and Recognition

This award is given to youth who have shown consistent excellence on the martial fields. The recipient must be under 16 years of age at the time of the award. The award can only be conferred once upon a given individual.

Recipients are styled as Companions of the Brendon Swatko Award and may use the post-nominal letters C.B.S..

Badge and Insignia

The official badge of the Order is currently in submission with the College of Arms. The scroll for this award should not have the recipient's arms portrayed.
