Persona
Anne Elizabeth was born in Norwich, Norfolk, England in 1545. Her parents believed that females deserved to learn, so she was allowed to sit in on her brothers’ lessons. She was fascinated with books, their beautiful calligraphy and paintings.
The year is now 1575, and Mistress Anne Elizabeth is a Gentlewoman of the Privy Chamber in the Court of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. She serves as one of Her Majesty’s companions as well as Her Majesty’s personal scriptrix.
