Overview
The Golden Nightingale of Caer Galen (CGN) is a baronial Award of Arms given for achievement in the arts. It recognizes those who have enhanced the glory of the Barony of Caer Galen through their artistic contributions. The charter was confirmed and attested on April 18, A.S. XLIX (2015) by Baroness Matilda and Baroness Anne, and by King Hrothgar and Queen Ingridr, with the attestation of White Stag Principal Herald Randal Carrick. The premier recipients were Alisaundre la couturière and Irel Krist of Starre Inn.
Purpose and Recognition
The Order of the Golden Nightingale honors artisans whose powerful and varied work brings beauty to the Barony.
Recipients are styled as Companions of the Golden Nightingale and may use the post-nominal letters CGN. This award carries an Award of Arms and grants precedence after principality orders but before a simple Award of Arms.
