Overview
The Order of the Golden Pheon is a Kingdom-level Award of Arms Order in the Kingdom of the Outlands. It honors individuals who have demonstrated excellence in archery or thrown weapons and who have given notable service in support of these disciplines within the Kingdom. This award was chartered on the 18th day of July, A.S. XXXIII (1998), during the reign of King Hrothger II and Queen Madigan. At that time, Pendar the Bard served as White Stag Principal Herald.
Purpose and Recognition
This award recognizes skill, dedication, and ongoing contribution to the martial arts of archery and thrown weapons. It is often given to those whose service helps to grow and support these disciplines at both local and Kingdom levels.
Recipients of this award are entitled to use the post-nominal letters [CGP] after their name.
The Order bestows an Award of Arms upon the recipient, if they do not already possess one.
Badge
- Vert, a pheon inverted environed of a stag's attire, all within a bordure embattled Or.
Recipients are entitled to display the badge of the Order and may wear appropriate regalia.

It is Our pleasure to recognize those gentles whose excellence and dedication to the art of archery have served Our Realm and enriched Our people.
We do therefore take and admit __________ to the Order of the Golden Pheon, that all may know the esteem in which We hold him/her/them. We further grant him/her/them the right to bear the badge of the Order: Vert, a pheon inverted environed of a stag's attire, all within a bordure embattled Or.

Optional Additions for Arms
If the recipient does not already hold an Award of Arms, the following line may be added after the first sentence in paragraph (4):
We further wish to reward him/her/them with an Award of Arms. We award ________ the right to bear those Arms approved by the College of Arms, [BLAZON], throughout the lands of the Known World as a sign of his/her/their great merit.
