Overview

The Harp and Chalice of Caer Galen (CHC) is a Barony-level non-armigerous award given for extraordinary service. This award recognizes individuals who demonstrate a deep love for their Barony, giving of themselves freely and sometimes sacrificing personally to enrich the community.

The Order was formally chartered on April 18, A.S. XLIX (2015) by King Hrothgar and Queen Ingridr of the Outlands, with the charter attested by Randal Carrick, White Stag Principal Herald. The premier recipients were Andros Korkyrates and Francesca di Pavia.

Purpose and Recognition

The Harp and Chalice is awarded to those who have demonstrated continued dedication, personal sacrifice, and hard work for the love of their Barony. Recipients are styled as Companions of the Order of the Harp and Chalice and may use the post-nominal letters CHC.

This is a non-armigerous award, meaning it does not grant the right to bear arms.

Badge and Regalia

Members of the Order may bear the registered badge:

Azure, a chalice and in chief a harp Or.

Recipients are also entitled to wear a blue and gold braid bearing a rendition of the badge.
