Overview

The Order of the Fallen Snow (CFS) is a Kingdom-level award for best death. It is given to those who demonstrate exemplary skill in portraying a warrior's honored death on the field. Recipients are entitled to wear the badge of the Order and use the post-nominals "CFS." The Order of the Fallen Snow was chartered on November 9, A.S. XXXVII (2002) by Jaxarticus and Kathryn, King and Queen of the Outlands. The charter was attested by Tatiana Pavlovna Sokolova, White Stag Principal Herald. The premier recipient was Lavan Longwalker.

Purpose and Recognition

The Order of the Fallen Snow recognizes warriors who possess the unique ability to "die well." The award honors those who, even in defeat, maintain honor and skill, portraying a valiant and memorable end on the battlefield.

Recipients are styled as Companions of the Fallen Snow and may use the post-nominal letters CFS. This award is non-armigerous and does not carry a Grant of Arms.
