Introduction
Caírech Liath ingen Ailpin, daughter of Lady Elsbeth and Lord Hamish, is the proud protégé of Her Excellency Ekaterina Kirkovna. Though she first attended SCA events as a baby, Caírech returned to the Society in earnest in late 2022. Since then, she has devoted herself primarily to the path of service, while also nurturing passions for garb-making, jewelry crafting, and the bardic arts. Recently, she has begun to explore the world of armored combat, continuing to broaden her horizons with courage and curiosity.
Persona
Caírech Liath ingen Ailpin (c.1130–1180) was born in northern Ireland to a Norse Gael family and now lives in Tokavaig on the Isle of Skye under the rule of Somhairle mac Gille Brigte. She serves the household of Somhairle as a ban-chaointe (keening woman) and genealogical storyteller. He service is often needed in campaigns and political journeys throughout the hebrides, Ireland, mainland Scotland, and once, Norway.
