King’s Champion

Overview
The King's Champion is a champion retinue position personally selected by the King. Traditionally, the honor was awarded to the second-place fighter in a Crown Tournament, though the method of selecting the King's Champion changed at an unknown point in the kingdom's history.[1]
Regalia and Symbology
The King's Champion is given the honor of holding Lightning on behalf of the King.
During their tenure, they are also given a baldric and green tabard embattled with gold with a stag and trefoil. This is an homage to the listed badge on the Outlands Heralds site, but it is also noted that the badge is unregistered.
