Scribal Arts

The Outlands has a strong tradition of scrolls consisting of all completely original artwork - no preprints or charters. Scribal arts generally refers to the arts of calligraphy, illumination, ink-making, pigment-making, pen-(quill or otherwise) making, and can sometimes also include parchment and paper making, or book-binding. Scribal arts aim to create works, or tools, in the style of pre-17th century manuscripts.
