The Kingdom Archer General is a deputy of the Kingdom Earl Marshal and reports to both to the Kingdom Earl Marshal and the Society Archery Marshal as well as the populace. It is the Archer General's responsibility to ensure the safe practice of Archery throughout the Kingdom. The AG should be communicating report summaries back to the populace via the kingdom newsletter and various groups so everyone can be informed.

The Archer General has several assistants to help in sure the safety, teaching archery and weapons construction, authorizing individuals and keeping scores and records. These individuals are known as the Deputy Archer Generals (DAGs), and without their help, this job would be impossible.

Baronial and Shire Captains of the Archers report to the Kingdom Archer General. These reports are made (usually via of email) on a monthly basis and should include any issues that have come up, the number of archers at practice that month and, most importantly, any problems, injuries or safety concerns.

The Thrown Weapons community was part of the Archery and Thrown Weapons roles for the Archer General until 2024 when the roles were split. The Kingdom Thrown Weapons Marshal is in the process of creating a similar structure for the TW community with Deputies, Captains of Throwing, etc. Some resources for both will be linked to this page as TW continues to define and grow. Additionally, other Ranged Weapons resources will be added to support the often overlapping communities.

Each year, all of these officers prepare Domesday reports that summarize activities throughout the year and identify goals for the next year. This report is due to the Kingdom Officer in December so they have time to consolidate and prepare the report they must submit to their superiors at kingdom and society levels.

The website Archery.Outlands.org has been inaccessible for edits for several years. The site is being moved here to ensure it remains accessible, stable, current, and searchable.
