Sable Garter of al-Barran
The Order of the Sable Garter of al-Barran (KSG) is a non-armigerous Barony-level Award in the Barony of al-Barran. It is given for excellence in the development of a period persona.
Purpose and Recognition
Recipients of this award are recognized for their dedication and skill in creating and embodying a period persona. This award honors those who cultivate their presence and appearance to the extent that they exemplify a specific time and culture, bringing the dream of the Society to life.
A Companion of this Order is entitled to use the post-nominal letters [KSG] after their name.
Precedence
This Order is a non-armigerous award.
Badge/Insignia
- A leather garter rendered in black with the words “Ad Excellentiam” rendered in gold and silver.
Recipients are entitled to wear the insignia of the Order and appropriate regalia.
