Eagle and Sun
The Order of the Eagle and Sun (AEP) is a Barony-level Award of Arms in the Barony of Aarquelle. It is awarded to those whom the Baron and Baroness regard as exemplars of the Barony's reputation for hospitality, service, and courtesy. This is a memorial award in remembrance of Baroness Catelin O'Kelley.
This award is given no more than twice per year at a major Aarquellan event and may be received only once.
Purpose and Recognition
This award honors individuals who embody the core values of the Barony, serving as a beacon of hospitality, service, and courtesy. The award is a tribute to the legacy of Baroness Catelin O'Kelley, whose memory is preserved through the recognition of these virtues in others.
A recipient of this Order is entitled to use the post-nominal letters [AEP] after their name.

This is an Award of Arms, granting armigerous status.
Badge
- Azure, a winged sun or within a bordure wavy argent.
Recipients are entitled to wear the badge of the Order and appropriate regalia.

- (1&2) Unto all who come by these presents We, Baron [Baron's Name] and Baroness [Baroness's Name] of Aarquelle (do not use "of" for Audrey & Teigr) send Greetings
- (3) Lo, there do we see the line of our people back to the beginning. Their legacy of service and their steadfast commitment to The Dream still inspires us today. We now seek to honor those who have gone before by recognizing those members of our populace who are exemplars of Aarquelle's reputation for hospitality, service and courtesy. This award is in remembrance of Catelin O'Kelley.
- (4) We do publicly commend [Recipient's Name] and do hereby prefer and advance [him/her/them/{name of recipient}] to the Order of the Eagle and Sun. [He/She/They] shall be bestowed with all rights and responsibilities of this rank, including the right to bear the badge of the Order: Azure, a winged sun or within a bordure wavy argent, that all may know of the high esteem in which [he/she/they] is held by our Barony and ourselves.
