Overview
The Order of the Aspen of Caerthe (CAC) is a Barony-level Award of Arms in the Barony of Caerthe. It is awarded to those persons who have given outstanding service to the Barony.
This award was chartered in 1999 (A.S. XXXIII), by Baron Walter and Baroness Fiachra of Caerthe, with the charter also signed by King Maelgwn and Queen Lillian of the Outlands. Pendar the Bard served as White Stag Principal Herald at the time. The companionship of all previous recipients of the Order is hereby confirmed by the charter.
Purpose and Recognition
This award recognizes individuals who have provided outstanding service to the Barony of Caerthe, contributing significantly to its functions and community.
A Companion of this Order is entitled to use the post-nominal letters [CAC] after their name.
Precedence
This Order carries the precedence of an Award of Arms.
Badge
- Sable, on a sun throughout Or an aspen leaf vert.
Recipients are entitled to wear the badge of the Order and appropriate regalia.
